A few men that I know prefer video games to relationships with women. Its just that video games are more fun and less hassle than women.
Internet porn is a valid replacement for the odd time that a man feels that he has a "need" to be satisfied.

I think internet porn has largely "replaced" women for younger men.
Video games though are the replacement of woodworking (no pun)–very few guys these days have a shop or shop skills, seems to be an antiquated hobby any more.

I can see why they might be more satisfying in some respects. After all, once you know which buttons to press, you know what to expect. With us, sometimes the same moves that drove us wild one time may not do much another. Of course, if a woman really wants to drive a man wild (not just score a point), it can be just as unpredictable. I think it’s worth it though. For many reasons.

Yes to all the above. Video games have an off / on switch. So does a tv. Once you’ve paid for it, it’s yours for as long as you want it and you can use it whenever you wish.

While I can’t answer this question 100 percent because I am not male, I will answer on my fiance’s behalf although I can’t answer for him 100 percent either. My fiance is a true hardcore video gamer. So much so it gets on my nerves at times, especially when he buys things for his psp online and his xbox live, when he doesn’t have the money at times. If you were to ask him he would most likely tell you he would prefer the relationship with me than playing video games. He would give up his games if I were to say I was going to leave him because he plays too much, although I wouldn’t ever do that. I don’t know how a typical all the time game player really is when it comes to playing games vs. a relationship with a woman but my fiance’ is different. There are times we are in the house doing separate things, he will be playing his games and I will be doing other things and he will put down his games to come spend time with me without me having to ask him to. But that’s just how he is, I can not vouch for others. While internet porn may be a valid Replacement for some men, it just isn’t the same as good ole sex by other men’s standards.

Rio spout your pro-liberal feminist crap elsewhere. The only reason we would prefer video games is that all this feminist crap have made relationships hell for alot of men. Not to mention a man trying to make an advance on a woman could easily get sued for sexual harrasment.
We want you but honestly with that the bullshit laws and biases around women need to really start coming down from their high horse and start making more of the advances.
And yeah I know some women do but I’d put money on it that men still do it far more.

Absolutely not. I’m in a situation where I have no choice BUT to play videogames all day long and it’s hell. I’m lonely all the time. But I’ve had a hard life with women so I don’t have the confidence or skills to really go up to any of them. So I’m pretty much screwed.
I would give worlds to not be in this situation. It sucks. Period. I have nothing good to say to the man that would WILLINGLY put himself in my situation.
